new year's eve's eve lunch...

lye's going back to uk tomorrow morning (31st Dec 2007) so we met up today for lunch at bangsar's Delicious...

we set to meet at 12pm... so yesterday, i told sinlee "12 pm", then sinlee told me, "aiyah, when said 12pm sure 1pm wan... so i'll come pick u up around 12.20pm la"...sure enough, chris as predicted, replied sms saying she'll be late cause after church service will be 12.15pm.. then suyin called me, "bin, i'll be late la....", then hsiulye called me at 11.55pm, "bin, i'll be coming late cause jst brought jellybean to the vet, i am going to bathe now, then i'll come".... then as usual la, ping will probably be the only one punctual again.. so i called ping to tell ping not to be punctual... and big applause to ms christine chai for being the 1st to reach(normally she ffk or she'll come 1-2 hours later, same for ms chin su yin).

Delicious was SO crowded and Jason Lo was there dining with his family... he's so fat la...

anyway christine cut her hair and dyed it to some funny colorS yesterday... she says it's called hair mapping...whatever it's called, it has patches of black, brown, bronze and a few strains of blue, green, olive, ocha, yellow... you name the color, and she has it all (but few strains only, must dig thru her hair to find).....she paid rm300 for it...and she asked me how does she look, welll, true friends do not tell lies... u guys be truthful ok, checkout it out...

hahahah she doesnt look like she has cut her hair at all la, if she didnt tell me, i would have told her that she needed a hair cut... muahahahah.... sorry girl , didnt mean to rub it in more, but serious, i'll avoid your hair stylist at alll meansss! hahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahhaha i cant stop laughinggg laaarrr... sorry laaaa.. was just being truthful and was only expressing my thoughts...

muahahahaahha anyway today's outing was outrageous... we played a game, and we laughed so loud i think we kinda shook the place.. anyway the rule of the game is nothing goes beyond the four corners of the table... :)

anyway, ping asked me a question, a silly question. "bin, if i breakoff or if i am feelign down one day, will you all be here for me?" hahahah.. girl, pls la.. you dont even have to ask... u know we will be there whether you need us or not, u cant get rid of us wan....

each time we meet up, i realised that our bond are getting stronger, we actually understood each other so well, we know whats in each other's thoughts without any words being said, but well, maybe some of us were unpredictable..but anyway, we actually discovered more and MoRe about each other each day... i guess it's like what suyin said, that's what girl friends are for....and i am truly enjoying this special bond we have together.

heya girls!

mel came back on the 23rd of December and we met up the very next morning on the 24th at the Curve :)

We had lunch at Charms, then we headed to Paddington for dessert and later on, we went for eye brow threading at the shop near SuYin's house and then, had lots of biscuits and chocolates for tea time at SuYin's (shortbreads given to SuYin by JC's granma?or mom) ...we had a great time catching up at SuYin's... going through SuYin's privacy and love letters...we should do this more often la girls! and you girls are experts la... chocolates really really do reduce pain...

SuYin's mom was fun la! told us many gossips of SuYin's eX'es and also of robbers rompaking shit in motorola paper bag.. and teaching us the myth of crystals...why SuYin needs the pink one... etc..

everything was teriffic la! except for the heavy rain that drenched my shoes and the horrible life threatening stomach cramps.

Hi All! Seems like everyone is having fun being back in msia.. boohoo to me for not being there. =(

How was everyone's christmas? Mine wasn't too bad. Michelle and her hsemate came over to adelaide for about 10 days. i think i partied too much the past 3 weeks.. and now i'm sick.. i've lost my voice and am coughing up greeny mucousy stuff... this must be due to partying + alcohol + smoking + excessive alcohol ! Hello all...YES We r gonna b 24 Soon..n today i ve to eat 24 tong yuen hahaha..i like those with peanut,gula melaka,n redbeans inside but mum couldnt get this morning...all sold out left the traditional no taste tong yuen =( but i ate alot too la hahahah more than 24!

it's really gray outside my window now. i took a day off work cos i'm erm... sick.
and it's true, cos my teeth hurt and my shoulders feel stiff. so in essence, it is categorized as being an "illness". my last sick day for the year, technically.
i can't believe it. i'll start the year off being the second one to turn 24 for you girls (sinlee always being tai ka cheh) with mel following closely behind. i can't believe we're 24. there's really no point denying it. i'm just gonna flat out not believe it.

i have got alot of gas in my stomach these few weeks. i miss my family and a few friends here and there (you know who you are) and i want to cry because Christmas is suppose to be so beautiful and snowy and cozy but i feel bloated, cold and useless.

hey girls. time is passing damn fast la.. in another few days, we'll be logically 24 yrs old. no longer beginning of twenties and now we are transitioning into mid twenties, no point denying....

and..you believe it? its been 11 years of friendship made up of stalking ppl thanks to angie, tregedy and nightmare whenever angie has a crush, angie tearing pinafores every month, ah lye staining pinafores everymonth (sorry lye), lye entertaining us by not wearing socks and diff side of shoes everyday, us encouraging each other to study through the night, sharing mamee in the lab, making sandwiches for one another, bitching around, bribing christine during spot checks, making a fool out of teachers, seeing us fall in love and fall out of love...etc etc etc etc the list goes on. Just want to remind you ppeeps, how wonderful you girls are, and how grateful i am to have you girls around. you girls beautified and coloured my life. for those of you who are going through a down time in life, just want to let you know everything in life happens for a reason, and dont look at the closed door too long that you may fail to see a new world of opportunities opened ahead. Whenever you need a friend, we are here, and that's what this blog is for, i know i am always busy and always working late, and sometimes when u call me, i'll say, hey i m in office rushing something, i promise to call you back, but never did. and ffk dinners etc, but well i m definitely better than christine and suyin (this must be a "Christine" thing to do) :P Anyway sorry girls. my new year resolution will include to make more time for family and friends.

Hello everyone and yes i have been reading all your blogs and it's nice to see that everyone is doing fine!!! my love to everybody!!
first of all i want to tell everyone to please please next time if we wanna have a gathering please have it later!!! i love you guys alot but seriously no one wakes up at 930 in the morning on a sunday...please!! and i called bin at 12 in the afternoon thinking that you guys are still there...and then she was like :" suyin, everyone has left and we went to 3 places and im reaching home soon!!!"...i was like huh? it's only 12 so next time if we go out we go out later and hang out longer ya!!
so i felt really bad because i really wanted to see the winterkorns, so i called nick's hp and then i managed to meet up with them in pavilion....they are the cutest thing!!and yes we went to coffee bean for a nice cup of coffee and hsiu lye being as she is had what? some coffee mint thingy with blueberry cheesecake...and yes nick is so blur...and yes i can understand his accent!!
haha...and lye you're supposed to call me back.....
and please DR.nick winterkorn reminds me a bit of bin too!! because i went with my friend and his sister...so we were at coffee bean..after we shopped for say 1 hr?
and then at coffee while lining up, nick came up to me and said eh your brother wants chye tea?
i was like huh my brother?
he was like yea," your brother and i think it's chye or some Moroccan tea? then i said nick," i don't have a brother...then he said oh ," sorry i 'm blur and turns to my friend's sister and said ok your brother wants this and this..." bear in mind me and my friend's do not look alike at all!!!!

i am in a devasted state now.

My 10 years of hotmail and msn account is GONE.

I dont know what happened to me today, but it must be the dim sum we had this morning, or should i blame it on the orange juice from mcd's?

I came home, i tried to logon to my msn, but itchy finger, went to retype my password instead of the normal, connect using saved password option. Then INVALID PASSWORD. I tried for about a million times, but failed. So I clicked on the 'Forgot Password' option. And i couldnt answer my secret question. "Who was your first childhood friend?". I set this answer 10 years ago, when i was in Form 1, 1997 ok! how am i suppose to remember?? i typed everything from khoo bin wei, bin wei khoo, binwei, bin wei, my dog, jacky, myself, no friends, my tortoise, 4 terrapins, a rabbit, fishes, 1 cekap, my mom's name etc etc etc etc.. and everything was invalid. Then finally, i clicked on the Reset password option. and it says, password is sent to your 'Alternate' email address WITHOUT stating which email accound it was. OMG i set it like 10 years ago ok! I waited an hour in my gmail account praying hard with wishful thinking the mail will come. but, it didnt. So that was it. My 10 years of servicing email address and msn is now GONE.

you ppl will probably laugh, BUT IT'S NOT FUNNY REAALLLY. I am trashed and devasted, and suisidal.

Gidday mate! :D Harloes...it's been a while huh? Well, so sorry for the lack of er...presence? First it was the wedding and then I was off to Ozzieland for 13 days. Since I got back last Friday, it's been madness: friend's farewell, Xmas box packing (church managed to put together 4000 boxes for the less fortunate, praise God!), my friend moved in, and then been job hunting and just catching up with people. So, unfortunately, though I read this blog much, I don't say much. :P

Party time!

First of all.. how's everyone doing? Angie.. i hope you're feeling better.. u know we'll pray for u... Bin Wei... stains.. oh stains... well.. at least u'll laugh at it now... Everyone else.. I hope you guys are having the time of ur lives!

As for me... well.. i've been coping.. looking forward to heading home soon.. but plans seem to have changed a fair bit.. i probably wont be working back at home.. cos i wont be able to do anything else unless i do my stupid 3 year compulsory service with the government... and i'm trying to avoid that.. so im most prob opting to study again... where..? i'm not sure.. but it does look like i'm coming back to australia.. =( . But i'll head home first.. and see what happens...

So what's been happening for me.. Just work work work i guess.. but last saturday i had my company christmas dinner.. And we had it at a nightclub/function center.. so it was the best place ever! Free flow of alcohol... man that was the best... i broke out in hives the next day.. but it was all worth while... i'll post some photos up.. man i look round.. i look a bit odd though.. haha.. but it was all in the end a good night.. cos it was once.. i didnt think of anything else but to have fun.. so enjoy with the photos! You guys might see Denise somewhere in the photos.. i took her along.. hehe.. free flow of alcohol.. she wouldnt miss that!

on a more appetizing note, my boss took us to Famous Dave's for Christmas lunch today because he believes in Jesus and he's cool like that.
i didn't eat alot (i didn't eat little either)
but i ate this:the ribs and the firecracker green beans were really what i ate. and a side of mash potatoes cos i didn't want to overdo the calorie intake with fries. it's a pretty good picture of what i ordered cos i had ice tea to go with it too. the ribs do look like that. or like this:
and when i was done, i was surprised cos i had room for desert. can you believe that? me... small eater angie chong. so i ordered the simple hot fudge brownie with a scoop (or three) of ice cream. again, not to overload the calorie intake, i shared. good attitute, i'd say..
that really looks like what i ate. plus a few more scoops of ice cream.

so that's my week.

i'm distressed

Hi you guys.

i had mentioned this before: my aunt in california has been diagnosed with liver cancer. and she's this sweet albeit fiesty 79 year old woman. Now she loves it when i call her because lets face it, all old people like it when young people call them.

but a few weeks ago, she went into the hospital because they were gonna prod the cyst thing in her liver. since then she's been given these nasty medications for recovery and she's sleeping alot, so much more than she used to. she's really sick.

my heart is breaking because when i called (the first and probably the last time i'll ever get an answer) she was really reluctant to talk and she just wanted to rest.
now i call once every week just to see how she's doing. this past 2 weeks no one has answered my call. i'm afraid she's either really sick or dead in the house with no one to find out. or someone found out but forgot to tell me.
i love my aunt (probably more than i should) so i don't know what's going on. i'm just really distressing.

could you guys pray for me , and my aunty please?

Omg!

girls.. this is probably one of the worst day for me after many months.

First I woke up this morning feeling .....errm white.

Cause….
Out of 5 days to office ,
4 days I wear BLACK pants,

and 1out of 5 days, I wear either GREY,BEIGE,BROWN,DARK OLIVE GREEN or WHITE and only 1 day out of the 30days in a month, I wear white pants.

So I Wore white pants today.

So today’s the day. anddd... "Nope, I did not have my period today".

The story begins when I reached the lrt station….”

while waiting at the lrt queue, a horrible gastric pain strike me..cold sweats, turning green and shivering.. so I left the queue and went searching for gastric pain pills.

I went to guardian(located at kj lrt station), the medicine was out of stock,

Shivering in pain, I took the empty box lying there to show the cashier… “Mana Ini…?????!!”

She casually said “Sudah habis?, oh you pergi dekat belakang tanya orang pharmacy”

Then I struggled to the back, went to the pharmacy corner, but no one was there, so I yelled “helllooooo…? helllooooooOOOoooOOooo!!!” –No one came, no one answered.

I struggled to a sales girl nearby… “I MAU INI!!!!!” …I lifted up my feeble arms waving the empty boxxxx left right left right….

Then she went inside the pharmacy counter to search for hidden stock.. OMG, she was there all the while when I was yelling “helllooooo…? helllooooooOOOoooOOooo!!!” in front of the counter… is she StupiD or WhAT?

Next, I went to pay.. omg. i needed the medicine so badly. I was 3rd in queue… and it seems forever! Those lady in queue were doing MASS shopping at guardian at 8.30am in the morning??? What the ...!!??

Finally my turn came, I flashed my RM 50 and my strip of MaaloX to the cashier, she said to me…”you ade small change??, saya takde small change sini”

I stared at her. OMg.i m dying here, and u tell me no change! Then she attended to another 2-3 ppl in the queue and ignored me! And those ppl after me were all paying in credit cards! That’s not going to add loose change to the counter?!?! Damn. I thought I was going to die somehow, so what the heck, I opened the medicine and ate it right in front of the cashier. NO small change? I don’t care! I m eating it now!

Surprisingly right after that, she took my strip of Maalox and started tapping the machine. Wah. She actually had small change ok! What ThE.....?!

I was suppose to reach office by 8.45am, I saw the clock, it was 8.40am already. so I reached office at 9.15am. 30 minutes late!

I Chewed 3 maalox before lunch. Meeting from 11am to 12pm. Went for lunch at lousy food court at ground floor. Ordered weird macaroni fried with loads of pepper and tomato sauce layered on top. I finished my meal, I looked down at my pants, OH MYGAWD!

I SAW ORANGE SPOTS ALLLLLL OVER MY WHITE PANTS-THAT ZIPPER’S PART AND ALL OVER EVERYWHERE AT THE THIGHS AREA OHHHH MYYYY GAWWDDD!

All I can say is omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg
until I calmed down. My colleagues decided to shade me from the front so that ppl cant see me.

and now I am back at my seat, and I realized I cant move, I cant go to the toilet to pee. Walking to the girls toilet is like walking to the other end of office, where I have to parade to entire team, my StaIns! And worst of all, I have to walk pass the men’s toilet.

OMG. So I am sitting here now. Typing these out in my seat. It’s 20 minutes since I came back from lunch. Omg. I am praying hard I don’t have to pee today.
