SOOK'S blog

i know i know... ("this angie keeps blogging. boring la")

ok so i couldn't sleep because i kept thinking of this radio broadcast that i heard a few months back in california.

"there is surely wisdom in waiting for a boy who's a diamond in the rough (to turn into a man). but that process becomes foolish (and a tad bit dangerous) when we mistaken diamond in the rough's for cut glass or vice versa. You will figure out which is the other when pressure hits. The cut glass breaks under intense pressure, but the diamond in the rough only becomes more beautiful as an outcome."

spoken by a pastor on the talkshow. paraphrased to a point where maybe 17% of the words are original. but the meaning stands.

diamond in the rough's will eventually become true, brilliant diamonds. Cut glass looks pretty now, but we all know that it's still just cheap jewelry.

peep

So...here I am, 8.20 in the morning on a Saturday and I've been up for two hours now. First Saturday that I have free in a long long while (usually have cell group (church group stuff) on Sat...and being leader and all, you end up having to attend meetings and all sorts of related stuff...not complaining about it, love it all but a break is good! :D ). BUT! Su Hui Min (or Huimin Su in this part of the world where they are just as likely to call me Hui Su or Min Su -_-") is instead AT HOME and doubts she will step outside the apartment today. Why??? Cause exams are coming laaa~~ Damn sien.

I'm assignment-ing now. Bin, Sin Lee...come do my Fortran programming assignment for me pls. :P

What's interesting? Erm...dunno. My cellgroup will be going busking to raise funds to help donate christmas hampers to the less fortunate around Auckland. My church is trying to donate 5000 hampers this year. :) Anyone want to help sponsor? Only NZD funds accepted. :P Going back to busking...don't worry all of you, I will not be singing nor playing any instrument (and everyone goes..."Thank God!!!"). I will be the manager...collect money only. Hee heee....:) Need ppl like angie and suyin to come sing for us. :)

I am addicted to kim chi. I bought a whole tub the other day. Been eating it for breakfast, lunch, dinner. And morning tea, and afternoon tea, and supper. And as snacks.

I iz going Sydney and Melbourne end Nov. Sookie, you will be there?

K la. Need to go back to work. I want assam laksa. Someone pls courier over. Thanks! :D

Be good peeps. Take care....God bless....:)

i am still writing...

hello there. my weekend in hong kong was great. there were alot of people and dust. my sister spent alot of money buying things with her future husband. i just walked around alot and ate chinese food. what will you be doing there bin? how long will you be there?

min, and fellow classmates of old, here is the video. keep in mind, we aren't professionals, we were kinda fooling around and didn't know this was being recorded (because said camera man did it on his cellphone) but i think it was an awesome vid.
enjoy and feedback please.

i am still currency

hello. i wrote a long entry but the laptop overheated so everything went black and now i'm back to a completely white screen. thank you everyone.

i'm back in the USD land, so to those who were consfewed (akhem.. lye), i will clarify. i was in hongkong, now i'm back in the states. we do have some sort of an internet connection, thus the blog entries. don't backlash this nation, yapahlye of the pompous, stiffneck land.

secondly,it's been great having to meet up with (most of) you. as you can very well tell, i have not been eating only vegetables, so i've gained a few pounds. i also do not appreciate the lying statements of "eh wow lose weight ah?" and "nola you look the same la, where got fatter"
which is to my knowledge a lie to the supernova extend. please la, i put on 30 pounds ok.

thirdly, i love to read what you all write in the chat box, yet it's so hard for me due to the unsavvy-ness of my tech knowledge, so can we upgrade to writting blogs instead? doesn't have to be long (like mine) or intellegent (like mine) but just a little update on life and how it's treating you.

ok, about boyfriends. i love this topic because i get to talk about it alot alot alot very much and sound very intellectual and capable when it comes to boyfriends/ex-boyfriends/marriage. but because i fear the laptop shutting down on me, i think i wanna end here. i will upload this vid of me and suyin singing, you will for sure fall in love with us and proceed to have a fan club and fight to be president. bye!

i'm so proud!

i've figured how to work this thing! may i mention that NONE of you helped, even after repeated requests on our chatterbox for it! hmpf. anyway, turns out i forgot my password but let's not go into anymore detail cos it just becomes yadda yadda yadda.

angie, are you in 2 places or something? facebook queries your presence in hongkong but you must still be in msia to blog? or is the internet an all-reaching-into-the-furthest-corners-of-the-world type of thing?

anyway i digress. oh min, if i haven't thanked you, so sorry, but i LOVE the books you gave me for last year's birthday! especially the dog one. sooooo hilarious. so kinda late huh, but nevermind, i enjoyed them and thought of you and my heart said you were very kind and beautiful and thoughtful. so that's alright then. and thank you.

sooo how has my week been? i'm in the psych ward so i've been interviewing all these amusing people... i think i may go slightly cuckoo myself. they are weird and wonderful. as someone i met said, "there's nothing so fascinating as human nature". and it's true. oh and i was reading this chapter on personality disorders, and it's AMAZING how some of them fit people we know, girls! (especially ex boyfriends, hmmm...)

i was up on the wards and a patient wandered over and volunteered to be my interviewee... How Nice! I thought. we sat down, i asked her how she was doing, etc. then she started asking ME questions. Where am I? Where is this place? How did I get here? What time is it? and i spent my next 5 minutes answering these..... repeatedly. i'd ask her "so can you tell me how you got admitted onto the wards?" and she'd say "no, how?" until i got consfewed man. then suddenly, it HIT me. she has MEMORY LOSS LA DOH! then it all made sense... so that was one thing i learnt. if you get fuddled when interviewing a psych patient, this usually equals to some form of thought disorder. so take a step back and view it dispassionately. i like that word, it's like passion but with the dis in front, yknow? it's funny how you try to catch and hold on to the story but then just lose the plot and think... Wha...? so don't do that, otherwise you end up confused. how muddled are you with this story?

i had maggi mee goreng with broccoli and i pinched a lamb meatball from my flatmate.

sook, how are you doing? i'm slightly outdated... where are you now? and are things okay?
bin, what's the sitch? you going to netherlands/singapore? i miss you.
sorry this is turning to be an email type thing.
babies, i'll be in msia from 13th oct til... 20th oct i think. one week only for hsiulyelove. first come first serve yah!

i cannot believe it

i slept at 3am last night because i had swallowed these pills that contained caffeine for my excruciating, high-school-pinafore-tearing moments;
and tonight i'm still wide awake at 2:35am because i had eaten a self-inflicted plate of gong foo yee meen with suyin (who didn't help out)at about 11:45pm so now i can't sleep. i would need another 3 hours before i feel thin enough to hit the sack. right.

i'm going to subang jaya tomorrow (i'm driving, ladies...) to the old college and then i'm going to the opening of The Pavilion in KL. my mom's brute forcing me to work for her immediate boss to entertain VIPs with my flair in english and fake american accent. she's such a user...

well, thin or no-thin, i'm going to bed.

Mel, you're so cheating ok

you ah, suddenly got so many posts in this blog la now, just because i said i'm now the most regular blogger after bin, you wanna challenge the title with me isit?? har?? :) how's your leg?

Leslie Cheung is on tv right now. my mom's watching this remake of his old(er) movie. it's so weird watching some guy on tv knowing that he died a few years ago.

Thanks bin for the post dedication. I now know so, so much more about mat rempits. like how they like travelling in groups of 10 thousands, how they like to hold hands and feed each other while biking and stuff like hitting your car with their helmets. nice...

i'm leaving on wed to hongkong then back to the states. it's been a great trip back. to the kim gary girls and sinlee, thank you for lunch, dinner and lunch again. to those who couldn't make it but wished they did, SERVES YOU RIGHT FOR NOT BEING HERE LA! ah! (dedicated to chris chai)

min, this is for you. i had helped out with YWAM only once because i was selfish and scared. selfish because i wanted to enjoy my trip doing things like shopping and lunching with my mom and friends (like seriously), and scared because i went to a drop-in center where drug addicts and homeless people hang out from breakfast till tea time, they take showers there, wash their clothes there- basically just hang out cos they've got no where else to go. i could smell the sense of despondency, dejectedness and dilapitated lifestyle that surrounds these people. thats why i like the book blue like jazz so much. the world makes us believe we're waging a war against gays, the liberals and drug addicts. but these are the people that i believe Jesus would love the most. i read and reread the gospels so many times, and not once have i seen Jesus being afraid of the lepers, or the prostitutes or the coccaine-tripping people. i think He ate with them, touched them, told them jokes, even loved them. and i'm suppose to extend this love, yet i failed to do so. YWAM is such a great ministry. i bet they have a few in NZ. what do they do there?

thank you so much for allowing me to blog so much this summer. anyone wants to come to the states can come visit me in minnesota, or wait a year or so and visit me in california. God willing, i will be doing my masters by fall of 08.
ARE YOU ENJOY???!!! (screamed in manner of Ella- Malaysian songstress)

ps:
binwei:why u not going to netherlands and why u reject singapore u please tell me why ah

angie, this is for you...

hey angie, due to your disbelieve in our stories of Mat Rempits hitting your car with helmets, and they come in one thousand....here you go.. headlines this morning...fresh from oven..
Student attacked by Mat Rempit after crash
By NUR AKMAL

KUALA LUMPUR: A group of Mat Rempit threatened a college student and damaged his car with helmets and other objects in Subang Jaya.

Chin Yaw Fung, 20, was driving along Federal Highway at 3.30am on Sept 2 when his car knocked into a Proton Iswara car.

“I alighted from my car and apologised and was even willing to pay for the damage but the car driver refused to settle the matter.

“Suddenly, about 20 Mat Rempit rode by and started shouting and threatening me.
“I got into my car and drove off,” he said at a press conference held by MCA public complaints and services department chairman Datuk Michael Chong yesterday.

Bad wreck: Chin and Chong showing pictures of Chin's smashed up car in Kuala Lumpur on Wednesday. But Chin's car had a puncture at Subang Jaya and he pulled over to stop and found that the Mat Rempit had followed him.

“Then some of them jumped on top of my car and started swinging their helmets, sticks and steering locks at my car,” he said, adding that he sounded his car horn but no one went over to help him.

Several minutes later, a tow-truck driver pulled over. Only then did the gang members stop their attack.

Before fleeing, they took his cellphone, a jacket and an expensive pen. Chin later lodged a report at the Petaling Jaya police headquarters.

In another case, painter Yap Khong Tjun was assaulted by a motorcyclist after an accident in Bandar Tasik Permaisuri about 8pm on Monday.

“It was a minor accident but he refused to settle the matter and we decided to walk to the police station, which was nearby.

“As we were walking, the man swung his helmet at my head several times,” he said, adding that he lodged a report at the Petaling Jaya police headquarters.

It's been 6 weeks

it's been 6 weeks since I started my job. Time flies really...and all i know is my 13 week appraisal is approaching.
everyday when i get home..all i want to do is .....sleep..but of coursela i still cook cause u know la food is important to me..
its been hectic..constantly on the go...non stop..prescriptions...customer queries...nightmare customers....fellow healthcare assistants...
i think im going to get varicose veins on my legs sooner or later..i only get to sit down an hour a day...which is at lunch time..hence during lunch time i just stay in the staff room..resting my feet..
everyday i get paper cuts on my fingers..until they are so rough now..;)
since winter is approaching..we have a flu vaccination campaign running in my store now...so it means we have to get people to sign up for this flu vaccination service..there is like a target of 75 a day!wah lau!cost is 15 pounds each..but it covers u for a year....
i was nominated by my pharmacist as the champion of the store...nama glamour saja la...but actually doing a lot of kuli work la...and at the same time have to get other colleagues in store to help promote...doesnt help that they are so not enthusiatic bout it as how i am bout it...but nvm..ill device a plan everyday before i go into work to try to motivate all of them to promote it
so...right now..i think starting tomorrow..i will be walking around the store and speaking to customers randomly asking them to sign up for this vaccination service...and maybe hopefully later...my store is in a station...so probably go round in the stations speaking to people..i forsee lots of talking and lots of standing and lots of smiling nicely to people
my tutor...ie one of the pharmacist in the store is really nice!do u know once when i qualify to be a pharmacist..pharmacist hardly ever have breaks for lunch..they will just grab a quick sandwich and eat it quickly in the corner..terra leh...my tutor say thats how they keep themselves trim ;)
then i was like saying to him...good also lah...i can loose some weight too..he also commented that he hasn't heard a single 'lah" from me...proud a not??;p

i had a customer yesterday which was such a nightmare...when i was going home i was so scared she could have followed me and probably punch me...gila...she was just trying to find problems with the pharmacist and everyone else in the dispensary...she shouted at my pharmacist eventhough he apologised she had to wait because we had to carry out some legal checks on her prescription because it was a controlled drug...and because she had to wait for a while as we were trying to call the doctor who issued the prescription.i think she almost caused a riot in my store man...getting other customers to gang up with her...wooooooo...such a nightmare...

oklah..i think this is too boring for u guys but thats the update from me so far...anyone need flu vaccination??

PRAISE THE LORD!

i drove again today. in the dark (at night) AND no one got hurt.
oh yeah baby.

this is my third post; i am by far the MOST regular blogger on this site (after bin) so i think i deserve some sort of a reward. a thousand ringgit, no more bugs bunny teeth or more supple skin. Please pray.

hey, regarding the dog pound thing- i don't mean to be rude or offend anyone especially you-know-who... but you know, malaysia (or asia) does have more stray dogs than many western countries. i don't think i'm being illogical when i say that because you can ask people in australia/newzealand or in britain/britain or in america/canada. we don't really have alot of dogs running around. well, usually you see some old, fat man running after the dog. they're playing catch.
so i don't know if it's such a bad idea to gather together all strays. don't look at it like they're pounding the hounds. it's more gentle la. erm.. correct? ok i might be totally off because i haven't been keeping up with the news. all i know is that fisher price is being sued for testing positive for lead in some of their toys manufactured in china. FP is a huge manu co., so they're in reaaally deep, hot, water.

here are shoutouts:
JELLO MELO. holla muchos gracias for your love and concern re: my driving skills. i can now drive perfectly on both sides of the road. The Lord is good!

MIN- SU HUI. eh, awak ingat saya sudah lupa bahasa melayu isit? saya mahu beritahu awak yang saya MEMPEROLEHI A2 dalam Sijil Persekolahan Menengah saya. sekian, terima kasih.
ps: how are you??

LYE TO THE YAP. please. how old are yeeeewwwwwwwwwww la and what did you do on your birthday.
happy birthday to yewwwww, happy birthday dear lyeeeeeeeyapppppp, happy birthday to yewwwww (sung in manner of backstreet boys)

PING PONG CRACKER, eh please read your card carefully. suyin copied my wishes to you COMPLETELY. i have witnesses (bin, sinlee).

to the rest,
PLEASE . why no one else write here wan.

i'm going to have lunch with sinlee and the kim gary girls tomorrow at klcc. then i think i will be travelling to hong kong before i leave back for the states. yes girls, angie chong is JET SETTING. and i went for thai massage last thursday night. would someone please ask me to immitate the thai girls. please.
oh did i tell you that the first weekend back i had gone to englebert humperdinck's concert with my dad?
please release me, let me go.
that was his hitsong. wow i couldn't wait.... hold me down.

ok i think i'm going to sleep now. hey i'm reading this really cool book called Blue like Jazz. this would be my third time reading it. i totally recommend it, i mean, it wouldn't be a nasty book if i'd read it three times. unless i'm some sicko dude that likes bad lit. which i don't. you can ask lye.
BYE!

A BARBARIC ACT INDEED! - Dog Catching Competition in Selayang

hi guys,

I am not too sure if you peeps have been reading the newspapers, but a dog catching competition is held in Selayang(Malaysia) and will be on going for the next 6 months.

I find it so disturbing, insane and barbaric. There isnt much i can do but to extend this news to as many ppl as possible, hoping more will join me in the petition for this act of cruelty.

These dogs will be heavily beaten, abused, tortured and finally put to sleep in a cruel way. Anddo you think that truly only stray dogs will be captured? it's RM 20 per dog and a total reward of RM 15,000. Isnt it obvious that this will encourage abduction and stealing opf pets?

Please share this with your friends and family and extend it out to as many as possible, let the other countries look at how beautiful Malaysia truly is. barbarians.

Please read the article below :

Thursday, 6 Sep 2007
If there was an award for ideas that have been carried out BEFORE much thought was given to it, then the Dog Catching Competition organised by the Majlis Perbandaran Selayang, will take top honours. If you had to do a double take on that last comment, please be advised that, it is not a typo mistake or a joke. When the news report broke in the Sin Chew Jit Poh newspaper on Tuesday with a picture of councilman Dato Tang See Hang officiating the ceremony, and after people had time to translate it, there was a public outcry over the competition, that some quarters have called ‘barbaric.’

And rightly so because there is so much more negativity that will arise from this campaign than any positive that the municipal council had mistakenly hoped to generate. A check on the MPS website revealed that the municipal council is serious in running and carrying out the campaign, where lucrative prize money was being offered to enforcement officers and members of the Selayang public who could catch the most dogs!
They are offering RM15,000 to the top dog catcher (with 150 dogs or more in a period of 6 months to be eligible), and for those who don’t make the top three prizes, they are offering RM20 per dog.Imagine how much more useful RM39,000 would be towards an education programme towards neutering animals, and how much more effective such a programme would be in the long run as opposed to the quick fix, short-term catch the dogs campaign being carried out.And what becomes of the dogs once they have been caught?

According to the MPS site they will be held for two weeks for owners to come claim them. And what happens after the two weeks. The dogs will be put down.During that two weeks when say over-zealous dog catchers, hungry for the prize money bring in all these dogs. How will they be fed, where will they be kept, what sort of conditions will they be kept in?I can understand that the MPS receives more than 80 complaints about stray dogs, and something needed to be done. But is this the solution when the MPS has said that they managed to catch 200 dogs every month, but the problem is not solved. So the solution is to catch more dogs. Is this really a brilliant plan?

Bloggers and animal lovers, independent pet rescuers and the SPCA have all been alerted to the situation and the initial cry is foul. Notes From Venus will continue to report and update readers on what can be done. We’re are going to try and make concerted effort to ensure that your voices, complaints and opinions on the matter will be heard.
Do spread the word, send in your comments and we will keep all our readers informed with more updates daily. In the meantime, here are points of contention brought up on the issue by animal lovers.- For a dog, to be caught or even the action of being “hunted, trapped and chased after” by “hunters possessed” feverishly trying to loop its neck is already traumatizing and very frightening to its small heart.

Why promote further mental and physical cruelties to nonhumans by introducing a contest for the mightiest dogcatcher? Selayang will be transformed into a huge circus ring with its ringmasters trying to “out-catch” each other. It is distasteful to turn dog catching into a sport and make a game out of it! - Humans brought about the existence of strays. Strays breed too easily. These on-going contests will never nip the problem at its bud. MPS should make it compulsory to de-sex EVERY dog in every household in Selayang so that even owned male dogs do not impregnate female strays.

Why reward the follies of mankind due to their past inabilities to prevent the mushrooming of strays? It is, in short, human wrongs that need managing, not the “crop” of animals. - The mind-boggling great cash prizes would only bring about greedy ideas and feelings into already greedy human hearts. Every dog catching tool or trick (self constructed or otherwise) under the sun would be commissioned to catch the poor strays so as to reach the quota of 150 dogs or more. No humane considerations will be accorded to the captured strays.

In their mangled or unimaginable post-capture state, they still need to be “diserahkan hidup-hidup kepada urus setia pertandingan untuk pengiraan/audit. Gambar setiap ekor tangkapan juga hendaklah dikemukakan sebagai bukti tangkapan.” (editor’s note: a direct quote from the MPS website) - “Tangkapan boleh dilaksanakan sama ada oleh Jawatankuasa Penduduk sendiri atau dengan menggunakan bantuan pihak-pihak tertentu.” (editor’s note: a direct quote from the MPS website) Are we to witness a new breed of amateur dogcatchers at 2pm on 04092007? Will Selayang residents rope in their “dog catching counterparts” in neighbouring districts or states, related to them or otherwise, just to win the lion’s share of the cash prizes? Not all dogcatchers, amateurs or veterans, are experts and dog catch responsibly or use tools or tricks that exhibit their “humane” concern for animals, in this case which non-presence of this humane concern factor is strong suspect.

Are the animals to experience a slow, agonizing death as a result of a poorly executed tool or trick? We already abhorred present day dog catching techniques by councils and their contractors but accepted them grudgingly and somewhat unwillingly as a means to control strays WHATMORE when they are done amateurishly now? - “Tangkapan dilaksanakan tanpa menjejaskan undang-undang kecil 10(2)(a) Undang-undang Kecil Pelesenan Anjing dan Rumah Pembiakan Anjing (MPS) 2005.” (editor’s note: a direct quote from the MPS website) Who’s to properly monitor and supervise to make certain sure that the above are adhered to especially in the overzealous throes of catching dogs? Will hapless strays from other areas/non participants be passed up as Selayang strays to reach the quota? This too encourages dog thefts, which are already rampant. Unscrupulous individuals will “breed strays” as “pertandingan akan berjalan sepanjang masa.”

i drove on the damansara highway today

hi again. this is angie chong and my second time blogging. so yay!
firstly, i'd like to thank people who've supported me thus far:
1. sinlee for still acknowledging my reign as ms universe (unlimited years)

2. for min who gingerly mentioned that i had conveniently left out talented mr saxplayer's name

3. for bin who pointed out that it was indeed chicken and not pork that she ate yesterday. (was mine chicken too?)

i went to one utama today. the weather was really hot and i drove. i have rm10 worth in isetan vouchers so i think i will be heading down to klcc again tomorrow for some sushi. would someone like to meet me there during lunch (hint, the kim gary girls)

i will be helping suyin out during her stint at BB Park this 14th and 15th. she's singing 26 songs and i, one. i had asked if i could belt out o' holy night (since mariah carey changed it into a secular song) but suyin commented that due to the christian connotations surrounding the song and the sensitive sentiments still felt amongst the malaysians, its best for us to just go ahead with somewhere over the rainbow.
(side note: just to let you guys know, i'd probably start the song off, then proceed to sidetrack into o' holy night- they're the same key)

would you come support? i plan to call up YAP LYE's mom and dad to join us. aunty would probably start throwing money on stage in support. yes!

yeah, why doesn't anyone else write in here besides bin? i keep seeing her name after every post. dude......

the day i ate at kim gary

hello friends. this is angie chong, and i'm proud to announce that this is my very first blog entry for the sri aman 2001 reunion website (which is aptly incorrect because year 2001 saw many more graduates from sri aman than just us chinese few)
i'm back in the motherland for a month- i have been back for around 3 weeks, i have two more to go (that doesn't necessary make a month, i know) and i'm hot. like dripping hot.

so to summarize what's been happening, i've done some nominal things and some not so nominal things while i've been back. i started the trip out by hanging at hsiulye's house. mel (ody) had told me that my visit would coincide with lye's trip too (mel being the only one who knew beforehand) and i wanted to see my future gynae of many children before she left again for the next three years. hanging out with hsiulye, as one might guess, is alot of fun. like ALOT. her mom and (very goodlooking but thin) brother have been very entertaining, her mom mostly. we saw the rat movie and some golden flowery jewelry (you can wear it 6 ways) at midvalley. then it was over. she was gone.

i had also met up with suyin, loud as usual (her, not me). we did what most girls do when they hang out- net surfing and sleeping. she brought me to a play- the system of cikgu tuku because her "friend" justin chan stars in it. he also stays at stonor park and has four siblings.

i hung out alot with the fam because of a few important reasons
1. my parents had financially supported me through college
2. i haven't seen my sister (who's getting married in 08) in two to three years
3. they're actually really cool people
4. my dad's diabetic

my parents have been really supportive, except for one special night when i hung out with teresa till 5am in the morning ( i will expand later).

i also helped out (one day) at this place called "kawan" in KL, it's close by Shaw Plaza/Pudu jail and hosted by this org called YWAM (Youth With A Mission). they have this drop in center where drug addicts, the homeless and i think even prostitutes go to when they need food, a place to rest, clean clothes to wear and a shower. i'm telling you, some of them really needed a shower. it's nice to be able to help out, at the same time open our small chinese eyes and heart to what the world is really like and to remind ourselves that we are blessed beyond blessed to have our family, education and support.
i had asked my koo mah (dad's sister, 79 years old, half blind, diabetic, lives in California) if she grew up poor. she answered, " you don't even know what poor means"

she's right, i don't.

anyway, so i hung out there for a little bit. then i went out with an old friend to enjoy some jazz music. there was this band playing at this place we didn't even know about. and around the last set, they had invited their good friend to do a sesh with them. most of you should know who he is (if you like jazz) because he's a(n)
well known sax player
chinese
very talented, absolutely rad musician
owner of a satria

i was so stoked that he played two nights in a row because we went back the following night hoping that he'd play again. i was shaking when suyin and teresa asked me to introduce myself. he's not what you'd call attractive, but he's very talented. and i'm so stoked that we got to see him again (and probably again during the next few weekends because he's a regular at top hat and NBT)

so that about sums up the three rather uneventful weeks i had in the motherland.

oh yeah, and i had lunch with bin and ping today. we ate at kim gary and i had garlic pork spag noodles and some gross cream soup while bin had some black pepper pork and spag and really nice red soup and ping had rice in a bowl that had chicken and corn. we also had this rad drink that tasted like tea with alot of milk.

i hope you had fun reading this post because i took around 40 minutes typing it. thank you so much and i hope you have an awesome day!

my past 2 years of working experience in tm? it's been a great experience working in telekom(tm) project... met a horrible person who has given me lifetime lessons indirectly on how to dealt with difficult ppl, and 30+ other terrific and fun ppl whom i'll miss ever so dearly... non are colleagues, i call them friends ;) weird that ppl say you dont meet real true friends at work, or have i been lucky? :)

life could be pretty interesting at times.. you meet all sorts of ppl, ..some scars you, some leaves footprints, some will be there always, some will step in and leave forever....etc, jst so unpredictable!.. its good to be young, its good to experience, its good to learn, its good to love :) cheers peeps, we are only 23, and we ought to be enjoying ourselves!
