update no 5

hello girlies.

i've been MIA for some time because it's less than one week til I fly back home... yes that's right, I'm FLYING HOME TO MALAYSIA on Sunday 14th Oct and arriving Monday 15th Oct! but sadly, i will only stop there for a brief break before I head off to Melbourne on the 20th Oct for 1 month. Then when i finish, i'll fly back to singapore for the next month (my electives are 2 months) and then spend the rest of my xmas break (from mid dec til early jan) in Malaysia.

now for the next bit of news... Nick is ALSO flying to Malaysia! he was supposed to arrange his elective in france but that fell through, so he very last minutely applied to university hospital for 2 months... and my mum kau-timmed the rest. so anyone who hasn't met him already can come pay 50 sen and come stare at him at my house. treat him nice, but don't give him peanuts because he will choke on them, really. call my house and take him out for mamak. one condition, please stop him from garfling down all his food... he has been daydreaming about *prawn mee* ever since he got confirmation from uh about his msian elective... and the last time he went to msia he put on 8kgs in 1 month so do the maths y'all. 1 month = 8 kgs, 2 months = 16 kgs or size of a small baby elephant. he will also come visit me in singapore... so anyone. want to do trips down with him?

anyway, back to the busy bee bit, i'm packing stuff, washing stuff, buying presents for the folks back home and trying to organise where my storage is gonna go. i'll keep checking this blog for updates but hey! call me on monday when i'm like, fully in malaysia and we can go yumcha. i dunno whether my msian sim is still working but my house phone will never go out of vogue. so if you don't already have my number, call someone like ping or angie or binwei, and i'm sure if they don't already have it they will call me.
