haha!! just woke up from a 2 hour nap! dozed off like a pig once my flabby body touched the couch! have been working the since last monday! even on sat and sun! and waking up at 6 am everyday is not something i like although i did that for more than half my life when back in school! :P
well, all home-ground'ed' chicas havent met up for the longest time. Bean and i are always on the lookout for the perfect weekend to meet up..haha..but we always get replies like..eh...still sleeping la..just had sex the night before, cant wake up la..this la that la..ahahha! well, we re just busy la..haha!i ve got to admit that working life is not that fun la..haha..started my new job with the Taylor's Education Group,and nope..am no longer a teacher or lecturer..ahah! Am now a SuperCamp Co-ordinator. basically, i m training to be a facilitator for the programme and it s gonna take me a couple of years before i m able to facilitate a local camp. hehe! will be off to the states for 2 trainings next year..and hopefully, i ll pass both the trainings! :) but, then again, i keep asking myself if i m happy with this, and i still havent found the answer yet! damn..
love life?? sigh..i m gona die as a spinster la. but i want u guys to play the song 'No woman no cry' but change it to 'No man no cry', 'uptown girl' and 'miss independent' during my funeral k? hahaha! girl power till the end man..but seriously..i hate being single for too long. men dont take me seriously. they think i change bfs like i change my socks. but that is so not true! sigh..all i want is jus to come home and have someone to talk to, to go watch a movie, to have dinner together..i miss being in love. sigh..if i dont marry by the age of 30, can all of u berkumpul kumpul ur money and buy me a macho man as a bday gift a? hahahah!! just kidding!
sigh..it s tuesday..ahaha..i m jsut starting to be so pessimistic la..any prescriptions to cure that?

hola!
hi my babies sorry mia for so long.
just been settling in... moved into a new hse and have started work so now i know what u guys complain moan and bitch about!
have been almost uncontactable via fb and msn lalala cos i've only just set up internet/wireless at my new place abt 1-2 wks ago. so thanks for all the wishes (super dem belated already i know) & for melo & angie trying to call.
started work early aug and it's pretty much 8-5 everyday. i do have to stay late sometimes to finish things up so on average maybe 2 or 3 nights a week i come back at around 6 or 7. i know this is nothing compared to bin & ping working like dogs until midnight, so i'm thankful that at least i'm spared that for the moment. next rotation i won't be so free though... doing gynae at the moment (angie's favourite) and it doesn't involve on calls. when i do medicine in dec and orthopaedics next year i'll have oncalls... my hsemate comes back at 9 or 10pm and starts at 7am... weekend (saturday/sunday) also have to work from 8am then sometimes he comes back also at 10 or 11pm.
gynae is good... doing gynae oncology (gynae cancer) as that's what my consultant specialises in. he's v good to me and teaches me lots of things. also he watches out for me & is a real mentor, someone i want to emulate. he's done lots of research as well. so maybe angie will really get her obgyn for free... although i'm still abit hesitant abt delivering babies... please it's just not the prettiest sight is it. will just put me off kids forevermore if all i do is try and wrench babies out. but i'm trying to think ahead & start doing audits & stuff so i can apply for jobs here. do enjoy work here as i can't think what it's going to be like working in msia... will just drop dead fr exhaustion at some point... and i so prefer getting the money. the only thing i miss abt being a student is the student discounts... dang! it's getting more competitive to apply for a specialist post so i just have to get going. die die also must tryla. lots of seniors have tried & didn't get through, or had to accept a specialist job they didn't want.
anyway enough abt work. just got back fr madrid yesterday and it was v nice. no pics to show you guys though because my digital camera is rosak so we bought those instant camera type things which give you 27 shots per camera. have to go and wash like old style. it's a nice city... but there was lots of graffiti everywhere. we went to the 3 big art museums n saw so many paintings i think i'm all maxed out when it comes to art already. and because the spanish are so religious, almost every painting was of some biblical scene. and like su yin, walked around and got sore calves and feet and yet gained weight. must be some holiday phenomena. and also got constipated while i was there cos every meal was meat meat and more meat. no veg, no fibre... came back and i'm in agony. haha tmi leh. and asian hotels memang posh compared to european hotels... to stay in some place decent u have to pay through the nose.. so we stayed at some cheap hostel. even then now already damn broke. uk is going thru recession now which is a bitch because the pound was so strong when i was studying and now that i'm working and earning in pounds, the euro and the dollar get stronger! shits..
well girls that's about all la. what's the gossip man... any lovelife dramas? bin no need to be envious abt the kweilo and me la... after 3 years also spark gone already. we're just cruising along like you and ky. can't recall the last time he did something super romantic like a candlelit dinner. it's routine.. come back from work, eat something fast because we're both so tired, do some work or research (which means me facing my laptop and him pretending to work on his laptop while he secretly plays some game in the background), then housemates might want a few rounds of chordaidi, then at 11 or 12 we all go to sleep cos everyone's tired. then repeat, day in day out until weekend, which means i get to wake up late and talk to my mum on the phone for 1 or 2 hours. watch tv, surf the net for awhile if i can get it to work and then sleep. i think also quite similar to you all right... sometimes go to manchester for the weekend to do some shopping or else go grocery shopping for food. both of us originally booked the madrid trip for our 3rd year anniversary, and it was 8pm before we remembered and suddenly wished each other okay! no card, no present, no nothing! damn sad... for my birthday also just went out for dinner with a small group of friends and then please, nick told me he made me a card, but it got "stolen" (more likely lost or he didn't make it at all). no cake also. still envious or not now? hahaha, the years do that to you la. this is why our parents are so old. next time i'm going to tell my kids to enjoy their paktoh years before they get too old and jaded. that's why ping u still need to update me on man candy.... "one never gets too old to appreciate beautiful things", auntie yap once said.

Hello again!
Hi Girls! Just saying a quick hello to everyone! I've been forgotten.. LOL
For those who know Denise, here are some photos from her 24th birthday. We had a theme which was sequin night.. and we all had sequin tops etc on. She got so drunk that she couldnt remember the whole night. We thought the party would end at 5am.. but it was cut short to 1.30am because denise couldn't hold her barf in her mouth! LOL! Enjoy!
