sunday so blue

girls, i am feeling so blue today.You know the saying; 'true friends are the ones who turns up when you least expect them to and when you need them the most', is So true. And the best thing is, you dont even need to say or mention anything! jst like magic, *pooOF* they appear! :)

i cant be more glad to bump into suyin and to hugged her this evening and best surprise of the day? i received a call from Ah Lye! oh YeS, our YaP Ah LyE! she's home!! back in M'sia for holidaayy and she'll be arnd for 2 weeks! how lovely isnt it?

now. a lil story abt me.

khoo bin wei being khoo bin wei had always took things for granted. she thought she was a strong lady, and everyday she felt that she missed being single and free. and occasionally she cries for freedom and yell nasty things at her boyfriend telling him she'll do better without him, she aughts to be treated better, and she hasnt seen enough of the world yet to be tied down this way. So she yelled and she pleaded that she needed time apart to reconsider about what she needs, what is meant for her and what is not. however, although how much she cries and screams, her boyfriend told her to hang on there, she'll definitely get the chance to think about what she needs with a job like his. (job scope says required to work on projects abroad for months)

So finally, this morning he has left for work for a month. and yeah, a month seems to be pretty short. but gosh. i cant explain the feeling of emptiness inside me. every hour seems to be so draggy and blue. feels so different knowing that i cant just pick up the phone to scold or to talk to someone. u know i've been seeing the same guy every single day over the past 7 yrs. the longest time we were apart? 1 week and never more! and in any 1 week, we talked on the phone at least 5 times a day. so i guess without realizing it, i was feeling so attached to him, so glued and so used to it without realizing he has became part of my life, my routine.


Today, for the 1st time in 7 yrs, i feel this way. i cant explain. i jst feel so empty. so sien. like dont know whether to sit or stand.

btw r u girls bored reading this? sigh. maybe i dont know what i am typing anymore. anyway, cant wait to see you girls soon. though i was going slightly mad.

I'm Back!!

Hi girls!

I know i've been so out.. lol... out of action i mean.. Been super busy.. although i do check this blog quite often, just not had a chance to post anything... firstly... GONG XI FA CHAI everyone!!! I'm back in PJ at the moment, was in singapore for a week... and guess who i bumped into in church???

Our famous Melody Ong!! Yay! And i finally got to meet this talked about jeremy.. hehe.. Was good to see u Melo! Wah i so fat now .... eww.. I keep telling myself.. aussie standard not fat la yea.. lol..

So i was in singapore to celebrate CNY with my brother's family.. his son is still a little too young to travel.. not that he cant travel.. just a hassle i guess. who knows! So i went there to finally get to see my gorgeous little nephew for the first time! How much he's grown..

So anyway, i am back in PJ.. i was wondering if i could catch up with you girls.. well at least once before i go back.. i'm flying back on the 1st of March! And the next time i'm back will most prob be only during December. I don't have anyone's contact numbers.. but this is my number here.. 014 - 6331946

Just to update everyone about myself.. i'm still slaving away doing my PhD. I'm hoping to be done in 2 years.. and that makes me 28.. yes 28... when i have to look for a job again.. lol.. At the moment i work 7 days a week.. 5 days at uni and 2 days in the pharmacy.. so i dont really have a day off.. Gotta do what i have to do to pay my mortgage.. i had to sell my car last month due to financial difficulty of keeping it! Don't really need it anyway now cos i have my personal driver.. :).. yes i finally have a boyfriend.. haha.. Sorry for not updating ppl about it.. its almost a year but its no big deal la yea. lol...

how's the chicas doing?

my dear chicas! how's it going so far? it's already soon to be March and very soon will be the end of the first quarter in 2010.. believe it not? :)

anyway how's life doing for everyone? it's been a major long long time since anyone had a hearty write up or updates on their busy life. busy is a good sign girls. but never forget the itsy bitsy things in life which matters to us... calling mom and dad to say hi and i love u, buying treats for your pets, enjoy the morning breeze, the evening walks, the sound of children laughter, reading a good book, sipping coffee and reading magazines, a good chat and catching up with old friends*AkHem*AkHem*.. and enjoy doing a little spring cleaning and doing some home cooking yourself :) those are little beauty things in life we should never ever take for granted.. !

chinese new year was all good for me... lots of food, lots of cookies, lots of soft drinks, lots of washing, lots of sleeping, and not enuff angpows... but had very good sleep for the entire week. this point in time my cny wish is to strike a lottery, be a multi millionaire, quit my job, travel everywhere, find you girls for tea time wherever you are, and continue sleeping. wah.. how nice. been dreaming and sleeping too much lately obviously!

and so far any major shift in life? marriage, proposal, new job, new partners, new gossips etc? anything the chicas ought to know? seriously, i m dying to hear from you girls. i wish i could update more abt myself.. but..my life's been abit too mundane lately... and oh yeah, in april i am checking another tick off my to do list in khoo bin wei's life. am bringing mom for holiday, wooHooo~! finally!! but errmm...not going anywhere far...jst hk and macau only... but will fully sponsor for mom together with my sis. been saving for this all my life since i started working. like a lifelong aim/objective/goal and it feels great and feels good that i can be a filial daughter finally :)
